Rajini Sudhir is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and lead of the lung cancer services in the University Hospitals of Leicester with a special interest in lung cancer and pleural diseases. She is the RDN lead for Cancer studies at UHL and a Honorary associate Professor. She has been a member of the British Thoracic Society Lung Cancer and Mesothelioma Specialist Group and an RCP tutor. She has 75 publications to date and is actively involed in Lung cancer and Pleural Research studies.
She is a National Selection Panellist for trainee appointment in Internal Medicine and Respiratory Training. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and a question writer for MRCP and SCE in Respiratory Medicine. She is a Clinical Academic Tutor for Leicester Medical School and a Honorary Senior Lecturer for the University Of Leicester.

She is also involved in providing teaching sessions for Interview Skills for International Medical Graduates through Royal College of Physicians.
