Dr Panchal is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Glenfield Hospital, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. He is the clinical lead for pleural diseases and interventional pulmonology and inaugurated the Leicestershire robotic-assisted bronchoscopy service. Dr Panchal is a member of the Institute for Lung Health and an Honorary Associate Professor in respiratory sciences at the University of Leicester. Dr Panchal is a principal investigator on multi-centre research trials. He is also a RCP/BTS regional specialty advisor. Dr Panchal is regularly invited to speak and hosts practical courses both locally and internationally and offers a popular Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship.
