Dr Meera Chauhan is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS trust, specialising in the treatment of thoracic malignancies, including lung cancer and mesothelioma. She holds a PhD in Cancer Studies and is the Immunotherapy Clinical Lead, leading the development and delivery of immunotherapy toxicity services across the trust.

Dr Chauhan is also the Oncology Block Lead for the University of Leicester Medical School’s Cancer Care block and an Honorary Senior Lecturer, reflecting her commitment to medical education. Her clinical and academic interests include thoracic oncology, immunotherapy, frailty in cancer care, and improving outcomes through evidence-based, personalised treatment. She is passionate about delivering compassionate, patient-centred care and advancing research, education, and innovation in oncology.
